Add the AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run Fundraising Application
to Your Facebook!

Now you can raise money for this year’s AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run through Facebook! By adding this fundraising application, you can extend your fundraising efforts to your virtual network of friends!

Step 1 - Log into your Fundraising HQ and click on the "Fundraise with Facebook" link in the bottom right corner

 Step 2 - You will be directed to Facebook. Log in to your Facebook account. A window will open within Facebook asking for you to "Allow Access" to the application. Click "Allow."

 Step 3 - You will be asked for permission for the AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run fundraising application to post items on your wall and to access your data at any time (this allows for real-time fundraising updates). Click "Allow."

 Step 4 - You will now see the badge and it will already have your fundraising goal listed as well as how much you’ve raised. You just need to click on “Add to Profile.”

Step 5 - Facebook will then show you where the thermometer is going to be placed. Make sure at the top it says “Add Box to: Wall and Info Tab”—this ensures that everyone will be able to see your badge on your main profile page! Click “Add.”

Step 6 - You will then be taken to your profile and you’ll see your badge right under your friends list and above your photo albums. Click “Keep” and you’re ready to get your Facebook friends involved in your fundraising! Congratulations and Good Luck!
