Go Green!
AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run is in its third year to “Go Green”. With your help, AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run can significantly reduce the “Eco-Footprint” left by the AIDS Walk. The AIDS Walk staff have started car pooling, taking MARTA, implemented a recycling program, reduced paper usage by increasing electronic communication and re-using scrap paper for inter-office memos, installed a water-filter so that staff can enjoy filtered tap water rather than consume bottled water, and have reduced the amount of paper that will be mailed to participants.
AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run will continue a recycling program, engage the services of an environmentally friendly porto-let company & will re-use signs from previous year’s campaigns to reduce waste of materials. Please carpool or use public transportation the day of the Walk. Do your part to Go Green!
