Volunteer!
Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run a success. Volunteer opportunities, as an individual or a team, are available during the day, in the evening, and on weekends throughout the 2010 AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run campaign. To prepare for the event, volunteers help mailings, phone banking, data entry and many more opportunities. An estimated 700 volunteers are also needed to produce the day of the Walk for setup, registration, route monitors, check points, and more.
Each person intending to volunteer whether individually or part of a group, must register online to secure their volunteer slot. Volunteers will be given a volunteer t-shirt.
Volunteer slots are limited and will close out once filled! Sign up early to secure your spot! YOU MUST BE REGISTERED PRIOR TO THE EVENT!
To volunteer follow these four quick steps:
- Click on the “Register” button above
- Go to the Tool Bar on the left hand of the page and click on “Volunteer Sign Up”
- Select the task where you would like to volunteer, then click “Continue”
- Complete the online volunteer sign up form
