AIDS Walk 2013 Teams
Teams are people walking together with the common belief that Every Life Deserves Hope. Teams are the backbone of AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run. Join a team or start a team, either way join us for an epic day!
What is a team?
A team is any group of co-workers, students, friends and/or family that registers, raises money and walks together on Sunday, October 21st, 2012. Teams of all sizes and types participate as any combination of walkers, runners or crew. Teams with 15 or more registered participants by Monday, October 15th at 12pm will receive a meeting area for their team on walk day.
Team Registration Information
Form a team in support of AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run and you will enjoy the benefit of great visibility while fundraising to support this worthy cause. Carry a banner or sport a t-shirt with your group’s name while you walk, show everyone that you support AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run! Teams also gain the benefit of exhibiting great team spirit and embarking on a morale building experience. The greatest satisfaction is knowing that you will have helped to raise crucial funds that allow area AIDS Service Organizations to continue to impact the lives of those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Team Captains
The success of any team begins with its leadership. As team captain, you have taken on the important job of recruiting walkers to your team and leading your team in their efforts to help raise funds for AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run. We recommend that you encourage all of the members of your team to do their fundraising on-line through the walk website. As a team captain you will have access to for the tips and tools you need to lead your team to fundraising success.
